Hanging with Mr. Cooper

I am excited to serve as the TVMS principal for the remainder of the 2016 -2017 school year. I taught special education students in Peoria and served as an elementary and middle school principal in Marshall and Bloomington. After my retirement from education in 2013, I worked with the Bloomington Easter Seals office as their clinical director and developmental therapist. I look forward to meeting all of the students and families that make Tri-Valley a special place to be.

A little more about my family and me. I am a sports fanatic and enjoy travelling. My wife, Julie, teaches fifth grade at Bent School in Bloomington. She keeps me “in touch” with the realities of what really happens in classrooms. We have two daughters, Rachael (who graduated from Carthage College and lives in San Diego) and Morgan (who teaches at Parkside Junior High, recently graduated from ISU, and lives in Bloomington). Our dog, Ozzy, would disappointed if he wasn't mentioned (without him I would be the only male in our family)!

Let me know if you need anything or if I can help you in any way.
